The Wilmot Botanical Gardens restoration project has been successful largely in thanks to the continuous support of generous donors and dedicated volunteers. Completing the restoration and enhancement of Wilmot Botanical Gardens requires substantial investment, and financial resources is one of our areas of greatest need. Operating funds used for maintenance and enhancement of the gardens are derived largely through extramural grants, philanthropy and profits generated by semi-annual plant sales. Unfortunately, due to restrictions brought on by the existence of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020, we were not able to hold our spring plant sale, which eliminated our main source of revenue for the first half of the year. Wilmot Botanical Gardens needs your help to sustain this true community treasure, where nature serves to nurture those in need of healing. With your help, Wilmot Botanical Gardens can increase efforts to expand upon our mission to preserve and enhance these historic gardens as a verdant space and living laboratory dedicated to improving quality of life through patient care, education and research.
