Hi all!
I am very excited to join the Wilmot team! As an Alumni of UF ‘s Horticultural Therapy
certificate program, past Wilmot volunteer, registered horticultural therapist (HTR) and
social worker, my main goal is to promote psychological and physiological healing by
bringing people closer to nature. Through education, creative expression, and mindful
engagement in horticultural activities, I look forward to being able to achieve that goal at
Wilmot in my new role as Therapeutic Horticulture Program Coordinator.
A few things about me:
I have a dog named Mona
I enjoy all types of natural crafts including basketweaving, broom making, fiber arts and
pottery
I’m from Jacksonville Beach, FL
I’ve lived in Gainesville since 2016
