Volunteer & Support
Wilmot Botanical Gardens receives minimal maintenance assistance from the University of Florida and upkeep depends largely on volunteers and the staff. Wilmot Botanical Gardens has survived and continues to thrive due to its dedicated volunteers, who contribute in many ways and bring a variety of skill sets. There are several types of jobs that need to be performed, including indoor work in the greenhouse, assistance with semi-annual plant sale events, and extensive maintenance of the 4.8-acre property. Volunteers with all levels of gardening experience are welcome. Learn more about ways to engage here.
In addition, consider making a donation or gift to support the restoration and enhancement efforts at Wilmot Botanical Gardens. Wilmot Botanical Gardens is supported almost entirely on grants and donations from individuals who value its history and vibrant mission. Learn more about the various options for giving here.
